The 2026 TCS New York City Marathon will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic five‑borough course, first run in 1976. Reach the World is excited to join New York Road Runners as an Official Charity Partner for the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon!

Reach the World has been allocated entries to the largest marathon in the world, and is looking for runners willing to both run 26.2 miles through all five boroughs of New York City AND fundraise for Team RTW. Want to join the best fundraising team in the world’s best marathon?

Are you interested in supporting Reach the World? Are you prepared to raise at least $4,000? Are you ready to help students dream bigger about their own futures?

Those selected to join Team Reach the World will receive:

• A race entry for the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon
• One custom piece of apparel
• Fundraising support from Reach the World staff
• Marathon training tips
• Invitations to in-person training sessions in New York City
• Opportunities to share your personal story with the entire Reach the World network and beyond!

Reach the World is thrilled to join New York Road Runners as an official Charity Partner for the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon! On March 15, 2026, runners led by our very own Chief of Staff will run 13.1 miles through New York City to raise money in support of Reach the World. Join Team Reach the World by supporting and sharing the stories of our amazing runners!

• Emily H – Emily is a former traveler who served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco and connected with students at East Ridge Middle School in Connecticut. She joined Team RTW because she wanted to inspire the future versions of herself to explore the world.
• Cameron R – Cameron is a former traveler who studied in Paris, France as a Gilman Scholar and connected with students at Jack C Hays High School in Texas. She is a student at New York University who is uniting her two passions: education and running.
• Kadin W – Kadin is a former traveler who studied in Dublin, Ireland as a Gilman Scholar and connected with students at Wheatland High School in Kansas. She wants to show students that someone their age, who comes from a small town in Kansas, can take on a half marathon in New York City. This is Kadin’s first half marathon!
• Nick C – Nick is a member of Reach the World’s Advisory Board who has led by example in his contributions to the organization. He is an avid runner who hopes to share his passion for both global education and running with the rest of the RTW community.
• Alex M – Alex is a graduate student at Columbia University, studying sustainability in sport. She is a member of the Central Park Run Club, and this will be her first race in New York City.
• Anaïs M – Anaïs is a former traveler who studied in Madrid, Spain as a Gilman Scholar and connected with students at P.S. 205K Clarion School in New York. Her experience as a RTW traveler has shaped work as both a doctoral student and director of her own educational nonprofit. This is Anaïs’ first half marathon!
